First and foremost, I’d like to thank Nathan Oliver for crafting this fantastic dodgeball trading card.

 

After weeks of harassment, my good friend Will Holland finally got me to sign up for Dodgeball.  I’m very glad he did because it’s a hell of a lot of fun, not to mention it’s co-ed.  My first season in the Westwood league, landed me on the “Magnums”.  We were ranked third going into the play-offs, but totally shit the bed by losing our fist game and being eliminated.  While, I hope for better things next season with the “magnums”, I’ve joined the West Hollywood league and am playing with “Le Dodge a trios.”  After two games we’re 1-1.  I’ll keep you posted on how our season progresses.    

 

I decided to move the “GOODIES” into this blog because they are more lab than nelms bros. work.

YET MORE GOODIES:

1) Here are three more of the Columbia sportswear ads I lent my pencil to (storyboarded).  Guerilla Gardeners, Tanker Surfers, and Rachael Scdoris.  Stacy Peralta directed.  The 30 second promos are good, but the interviews are better.

2) My friend and fellow filmmaker Greg McDonald asked me to help out on his set for the day.  Mostly holding boom poles and shaking up bounce cards, but it was good fun never the less.  He has created a persona for a fictional filmmaker named Mac Kelly.  If you like silly, spirited T&A, you’ll love this.  I worked on “Is a burger a sandwich?”
